Introduction

One2K Private Limited — The City of Lights, Karachi

In 2021, One Source Maintenance (OSM) won a long-term Facility Management Contract with Sindh Mass Transit Authority (SMTA) for the first Bus Rapid Transport System (BRTS) Project, GREEN LINE & ORANGE LINE in The City of Lights, Karachi. For efficient & effective execution of the contract, OSM partnered with a well reputed Security Company (Security 2000) and established a new entity, One2k Private Limited. The new company was structured in a manner to cover full spectrum of the BRTS contract.

The project was initially started with SIDCL, a federal government entity and as per the understanding b/w Federal and Sindh govt, the project was to be handed over to GoS after 3 years

As per scope of the contract, ONE2K has deployed 1,004 personnel at stations with requisite equipment, material & vehicles to ensure proper security and maintenance at 22 stations of GL and 4 stations of OL.

Including 54 Lady Guards to secure and maintain discipline at 26 bus stations. 36 security staff patrol dedicated bus corridors on bikes and double cabins (part of security staff).

Automated Fare Collection (AFC)

Staff deputed to ensure hassle free ticketing across all stations.

Housekeeping

Staff ensuring neat & clean environments at bus stations and corridors for passengers. 8 landscapers maintain green belts (part of H/K staff).

Field Technicians (MEP)

Ensuring continuous power supply and upkeep/maintenance of all electric & mechanical equipment at stations and corridors.
